The Morning After

I guess it's time to clean house. We aren't very good at keeping things picked up but I don't think we have any choice today! Cleaning day here we come.

Earthquake

We are fine. Our parents are fine.
Most of the area has no power.

SixChristmas trees on the floor. Lots of broken glass. Doesn't seem to be any damage to the house.

These were my favorite pieces of glassware. The purple swan was a slag bowl purchased for me on our trip back East when I was a child. Oh well...at least we are all fine and the house is fine.

Our only real possible monetary loss is our expensive scanner that fell to the floor. It is the gray object towards the upper right hand part of the picture.

Another tree bit the dust.

The spice shelves took a real tumble in the kitchen. We didn't lose too many dishes.

I guess it's time to put Christmas away!
